About

My intention is to provide valuable tips and tricks for your daily LaTeX editing. In addition, I’ll try to give answers to questions which are not easily found on the web.
If you have a topic you think I should write an article about, any question on LaTex or if there are errors/bad links in my blog, please let me know.

I get quite a few questions/problems which I try to answer/solve in order to help with your editing. Quite often, however, the answer to your question can be found within the previous comments. Please include a minimal example that illustrates your problem if you are posting a comment with a question or problem.

Please use the form below for any remarks, suggestions, critic, etc. I will try to get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks.

    Hi Tom,

I find your site very useful, it helped me to quickly find answers to some particular questions when I didn’t know where to search in the reference manual. Thank you very much for sharing your practical tips.

I would ask you to consider changing the color of latex code. Bright green over white makes it rather hard for me to distinguish, forcing me to select the text in order to read it.

    Kind regards.

I’m just jumping into LaTeX because I’m taking a course in differential equations and will use it to write study notes. I’m also really interested in LaTeX as a page layout system, especially dropcaps and other typographical issues. Just found your article on multiple columns and I look forward to reading more of your stuff.
